Ministry Partners Join District Staff

The District Council of LCMC Texas is excited to share that two new ministry partners will be joining our staff! Tim Wagner of Kerrville will step into the role of Communication Specialist while Alyssa Moore of McDade will begin serving as our Administrative Specialist. Each is a newly created, quarter-time, remote position starting on September 1.

A half-time position called “Program Support Specialist” had originally been posted and eight quality individuals from across Texas applied. Four of these were interviewed and during the interview process it became clear to the interview team that God had blessed us with two uniquely qualified candidates. Both were agreeable to split the half-time position equally with each serving in their areas of expertise.

Tim Wagner is an active member of Trinity, Stonewall. He currently also works a remote position as the Digital Marketing Manager for Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene. He is the architect of their current website (hsutx.edu) and social media marketing. Tim has 25 years of experience in digital marketing, advertising, and public relations including previous positions with Walmart and American Airlines. He’s a Texan by birth and by choice, enjoying Hill Country life with his wife and son. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, hiking, and anything else where he can be outdoors enjoying nature. Tim is happy to be using his expertise helping LCMC Texas and Harvest Workers advance the mission of God. He will be helping to further develop the District’s and Harvest Workers’ websites, social media, email communication, and publicity. You can contact Tim via email: tim@lcmctexas.org.

Alyssa Moore is an active member of New Hope, McDade where she has organized and led their VBS, Fall Festival, and various other ministries. She is a mom of four young children and together they enjoy quiet country living outside of McDade and delight in serving their church and community. Alyssa likes to keep very busy as she also runs a small online clothing boutique (gettrendyllc.com) and attends college online through Grand Canyon University. She is passionate about the development and spiritual growth of children and is pursuing a degree in Christian Studies with an emphasis on Youth Ministry. Alyssa also has significant bookkeeping experience that will serve us well as she helps keep track of our increasingly complex finances. In addition to bookkeeping, she will assist in event planning, registration, and coordination as well as handle other administrative tasks for the District and Harvest Workers. You may contact Alyssa by phone at 512-942-7776 ext. 1 or via email: alyssa@lcmctexas.org.
